Past Events

PerHaps Now (Performance Happening Now) was a three part event with a workshops by Rosa Stourac McCreery and Abi Fletcher during the day. Plus, a Performance Troupe Showcase in the evening.

It took place at Star and Shadow Cinema on the 14th October 2023.

"Now Let's Party," a drag king after party for the PerHaps Now event.

Hosted by Tiny Temper and a bunch of up and coming drag kings in the Newcastle scene.

This event took place on the 14th October at Star and Shadow Cinema.

A performance workshop at The Newbridge Project where local performance artists in the North East came to show past and present performance ideas.

This was also used as an introduction to the Performance Troupe and recruiting people who would be interested in being part of it.

A performance workshop at The Newbridge Project, experimenting with performance scores by "Everyone is a Winner" and "Theatre of the Oppressed."

This workshop was used to introduce people to performance scores and as a ways to play some games.

"Thank You Daegeseage" took place at Heaton Perk cafe on the 8th December 2022.

It was a small show from performance artists Zoe Kendall, Lucy Heaton, Jenni Mac and Liberty Hodes. It was a great precursor/experiment to putting on events in the local area with queer performers.
